P.007 - FLUX

The goal of this book was to relate the topic of typography with another topic. I created a book that combines the concept of motion and typography. Each section teaches how designers create dynamic type while maintaining core principles of design.

The target audience for this book is designers. The book covers graphic design basics, and then expands into examples of how to utilize those basics to create dynamic layouts and type placement. The book features examples of distorting letterforms and simple ways to bring type to life. Formulas and scientific information about how motion works in the real world is integrated into the design process. Dancer Arina Hunter, featured in the book, demonstrates motion. Her movements are then connected to typography.
